Potty Snofflenaks Lifts the Lid on Vegetable Boiling

The inspiration for this one page cartoon was the quaint old-fashion New Zealand cullinary practice of boiling the shit out of vegetables. Luckily New Zealand cuisine has moved on a lot since then.

This cartoon was done for one of the literary magazines that started in Christchurch at the time I was studying down there. I can’t remember what it was called or even whether this story was published. No matter, it was a fun little project to fill a couple of evenings while living in a student flat.
