Deep Void Salvage Vessel Stereo Image

../previews/025-deep_void_salvage_vessel-Stereo.jpg.medium.jpeg
This is a stereo image rendered in Carrara. The background was a planet surface built and rendered in Blender. the surface textures were created using snippets from googlemaps images of parts of Australia and a few interesting rocks.

To look at this image in stereo, copy it to your hard drive, and then use a good viewing programme such as XnView or GWenview to zoom out until the images are about eye width. Then if you stare at the (or more to the point stare through the image) you will be able see three images side by side. the middle one will be in 3D.

Those people who ascribe to the cross-eye technique for viewing these things will need to transpose the two images in an image editing package otherwise things will look a bit weird.

Have fun.
