This was a fun little project to create an object to put on your desk that would let people know what sort of mood your were in. Ideally I should make a welded wire frame for it to sit in. that way it would be a bit more clear what mood you were really in.
The faces were originally made in plastercine from which a plaster mould could be created. Once each face had been made in clay they were fitted to a flat back and the 6 sides put together into a cube using slab techniques.
The whole lot was finally raku fired (because I did not like the glazing the first time around). As is often the case with Raku there was the "Wow" factor when it is revealed from the sawdust reduction.
