This was my first ceramic project. What? You thought I'd start with a pinch pot?....Actually this was create using pinch pot techniques.

I was pretty pleased how it turned out so I stuck with the ceramics for a good ten years after coming up with this.

The colouring is an iron oxide and burnt umber mixture that has been buffed back to reveal the raw clay, a technique I liked then and still like.

The frame was made from driftwood tied with small straps of leather.

What is it? I have no idea.
