As you may have been able to tell from some of my other galleries, I am interested in making instruments. This was a concept sketch of a Zither which I was planning to make from wood with paper mache to give the more organic shapes.
I never got around to building it because it would have been a very big project. I was a bit worried about the structure too. With so many strings the forces on the structure would be considerable and so a very solid frame would be required.
