Quite some time ago I was playing around with the Inform7 tool for creating interactive fiction stories. I had completed a daft little story about a fairly unpleasant character who lived on a world that was covered in historic junk. I toyed with the idea of turning a variation of the story into an interactive fiction game.
Obviously interactive fiction is based on a layout of "spaces" which the player can negotiate their way through in any manner they wish. so the first thing I did was create a map. This is it.
The game got bogged down as I wrote more of it. Conflicts started to happen between the different sections and basically the things didn't work quite a well as I would have liked. I suspect Twine might be a better platform to write the thing in now.
